Arsenal apparently monitoring Bologna's Joshua Zirkzee as a ST option, according to Sam Dean of The Telegraph. Bologna want £50m, so doesn't seem like a move would materialise this month and we'd have to assess again in Summer.

Anyone seen him play much? I know he was meant to be highly rated as a kid at Bayern, but that didn't really work out and he seems to be doing well under Motta in Italy.

For me, he's still a bit of an unknown quantity. His goalscoring record isn't outstanding, but I suppose it's not going to be considering he's 22 y/o. Nonetheless, I really don't think we need another 'project' signing - unless we're looking to sign two strikers this Summer. We need to try and sign certified level-raisers.

I'm begging us to be smart with how we use our money. Bad enough we spent £65m on Havertz when we could have signed Maddison and Kudus combined for just £10m more (as an example).

Probably. Getting a bit sick of his shiiit this season tbh. Wanted to believe last season wasn't slightly flukey, but his decisions-making leaves a lot to be desired and forking out almost £100m on Havertz and Raya should be a criminal offence.
