Timber played LB for the U21s yesterday. Hopefully he at least gets to make the match day squad against Everton.

I read that Timber going to be back against B'mouth.

A couple of their forwards were back playing this weekend.

City won 8 in a row at home to West Ham and 5 in a row away to Fulham, neither team has any reason to turn up against them. So it’s down to Wolves this weekend and then having to rely on Spurs on the outside chance they still have 4th place to play for.

we really messed up with the Villa game

Spurs have some hard fixtures, Chelsea, Liverpool and then Man city, we have to hope they are not out of top 4 before the Man city game

Every game is difficult at the end of the season, irrespective of what goes on before. Players want to perform well against high profile teams for moves. Its idiocy to discount opposition. Man City drew against Chelsea, Palace, Spurs when no one expected them to. They even lost to Wolves. You just never know!

btw I think we have a few players now who turn up in the very high profile and ultra pressure games. Havertz and Saka attacking and White, Gabriel and Saliba defending.
Odegaard and Rice both really need to step up.

With Rice I think seasons catching up with him. Earlier on he turned up on the big stage every time. Overall the team has gained a lot of exp. Gabriel for me is the biggest step up from when we first signed him.

Rice can take over games. He is a monster. But I've seen him against the very top teams, being outshone by Jorginho and now Partey. He has it in him, but I think it's more about confidence and playing under pressure. He had very few meaningful games at West Ham.
Odegaard has even more talent. He needs to get over his image of being flat track bully that follows him at International level and defeinetely did at Madrid!

Do you remember how Arteta grabbed him to celebrate with fans earlier in the season when he scored a winner? Quite a change in his attitude and confidence. Chelsea fans almost destroyed him!

yeah Rice has been a bit disappointing at the Europe level, even with West Ham I didn't see him being the stand out guy, I'm sure he will get better though
