We’re strongly linked to Martin Zubimendi and Bruno Guimarães and have done for a long part of this season.
Seems as tho we’re odds on to go after one of these two.
Zubimendi - not seen much of him play. Appears to be technically good on but does not appear to be have much of a physical presence
Guimarães- has adapted well to this league. Good passer of the ball and has a decent engine on him to play the 8 role. Does remind me a bit like xhaka with that dirty side to him - do we need this type of gritty player?
Newcastle also have another quality player in Tonali too. In the few games he’s played, he’s looked class. A full season in him and he could be a game changer.
Tonali plays it through to Tony - some would say you could bet us on to win the league

Because they've got no choice they have to sell to balance the books. If the player is settled in England then with the greatest respect of Arsenal are going to be more appealing than Newcastle.

I think our eyes would firmly be on Neto if he didn't seem to get injured so much. Having said that Gomes looks like decent player so who knows.

Apparently they have an agreement to let him speak to CL clubs if they come in for him. I dunno if that's true, but if it is then it's a pretty bad look to negate on agreements like that and it would probably make players think twice before joining you, so understandable they'd honour it.
