Nobody thought Palace were going doing with Vieira or Woy. The commotion was about Vieira being brought in to change the identity of the club and then replacing him with a guy on his death bed who’s identity they were trying to get away from

Really ? Most people I know thought Palace were going down, they couldn’t buy a win. Now they are winning AND playing good stuff - what’s not to like ?

I agree there was talk of them going down as they were in woeful form and only 3 points from the relegation spots at the time of Vieira's sacking, even though they were in 12th.

Roy has done a very good job making them safe, almost instantly.

Yep Palace we’re never dropping - they had statistically the easiness run in of any side in the league with 10 games to go - it was actually off the charts how easy it was.

Well, I disagree, 5 points from 12 PL games, no points from the last 4 PL games, no wins in 2023 at all, to assume that they would just pick up from that is just laughable, there are no easy games in the Premier League for a team in freefall…

Any team that thinks they have an "easy run-in" are naive. The teams that are relegation-threatened are playing for their lucrative PL survival. Teams that are already relegated are playing for pride. They can all cause some major upsets at this stage of the season.
The obesity-challenged person who identifies as female is not singing yet.

Think it just shows how ridiculous it was to sack vieira when they had a easy run coming up
