So Ten Hag takes a dig at Arsenal by saying that we are doing well because we don't have a lot of injuries and almost field a full squad so far this season.
Ten Hag - ‘In other times, in every game, it was one player suspended, one player is injured or [has] illness, so we have to deal with it well but of course you hope, like I see with Arsenal, that they almost have all the time their squad available.’
Two things - not only is he wrong, but why mention Arsenal, it's not like they are playing against each other soon.
Other things is he used the suspension as an excuse for missing players, since when was suspension counted as an injury.
He's making excuses already???
It's a myth that Arsenal haven't had injuries.
- Partey has missed a few games this season, including the game at Old trafford, Man city, Villa etc
- ESR is just coming back, Gabriel Jesus has been out since November, Nketiah has been out recently and we've had to play without a striker last few games, he's likely to be out for longer now, so we are back to playing with one striker again.
Zinchenko had a lot of injuries at the beginning too, Tomi was missing for a bit before and after the WC.
So what the heck is he on about? Anyone know?
