David Haye

Is he finished?

Will he get back to world level?

Will he win another world title?

I've never been a fan of Haye, will happily admit he was an elite Cruiser but he ain't no Holyfiled, he has done feck all at heavy weight to deserve the credit he gets.

He beat that giant Valuev in a dreadful fight that he won on points by jabbing and running, he landed one decent shot in the 12th and people go on like he beat Ali or something.

I said before the Bellew fight that TB had a real chance, backed it and won 300 off the back of it, injury or not he was swinging wild from the very start, if he tried that v AJor Fury he'd be sparked out cold in minutes, he wouldn't have a hope v Fury, he'd never get inside his jab, the Klit fight (when Haye was much younger and fitter) that Haye struggles to mix it with a big heavy weight who has decent technical skills, Valuev doesn't fall into that category.

Also that injury, at that age must be very hard to come back from and have full mobility, something that would be key to Haye fighting any of the top HW's today, if he can't move well he's goosed.

I'd confidently bet 100 that Haye will never win another HW world title, and I'd go 50 that he will never win a HW fight again v a top 10 (WBC / WBO) ranked HW.

On a side note, Valuev is now a politician in Russia and an active Bigfoot (Russian version) hunter, true story, check out Bigfoot Files on Netflix, episode 3.

Dunc, while I agree Klit had not had a good fight in a few years, and wasn't great on the night, Fury had hs game plan spot on that night and made Klit look bad too, he is underrated in terms of technical ability, his persona makes people not see the basic qualities he has.

Also showed that Klit struggles when he's not the bigger man and can't jab and lean. Haye was clever in one way in the fight v Klit that every time Klit tried to lean on him he dropped to his knees, made Haye look a bit daft and spoiled the fight but can see why the smaller man would do that to conserve ebergy by not having a massive man leaning on you.

I think this statement applies more to AJ then it does Fury, look at Fury's record, he's got some good scalps on it, no luck involved mate. Who's AJ fought other then Whyte? Hardly recognised fighters are they?

Fury might be controversial but he's talent cannot be denied.

Still think if that was Chisora in there vs AJ that night Chisora would of stopped him, AJ was literally gone but Whyte just didn't have the experience or astuteness to finish him off for 2 rounds and then AJ got his legs back luckily

Valuev is Bigfoot, only bigger.

No it's game over for Haye. I watched the fight again last week and all the talk he gave about being faster etc was nonsense. Swinging and missing wildly at times tells me that if he's really that quick then Bellew was lightening quick or his timing is way off and he needs about another 3 lengthy fights to get his timing back - so basically just about the whole of 2018.

He lost to an unranked cruiserweight and not even an outstanding one either. He's tried the charm offensive big time to get the Bellew rematch who I'm hoping won't fall for it. If not then Haye has to go back and start with someone like Chisora on his comeback trail unless he can talk himself into a fight with Whyte or someone like that.

He's facked.
